Where Every Outgoing Tennessee Basketball Transfer Landed

Four Tennessee basketball players entered the transfer portal at the conclusion of the 2023-24 season and after two announced their commitments on Monday all four players have found homes in the portal. Three players landed at power five schools including one in the SEC.

Redshirt freshmen Freddie Dilione and D.J. Jefferson entering the transfer portal came as no surprise. Jefferson played all of three minutes in his two seasons at Tennessee while Freddie Dilione was a highly touted recruit and struggled to find a consistent role in his first full season in Knoxville.

It was more surprising that five-men Jonas Aidoo and Tobe Awaka entered the transfer portal, at least that both entered the portal. Aidoo was an All-SEC big man a season ago and Awaka was his promising backup who was stout on the glass and also a solid low post scorer.

While Tennessee has lost four players in the transfer portal to date, they’ve also added three players including Ohio State’s Felix Okpara who is in line to start at center for the Vols.

So where did Tennessee’s outgoing transfers land? Let’s take a look here.
