For the past several seasons, Lee Xixis has been a fixture on the sidelines for Central High School girls’ soccer as an assistant coach. Now after a year off, Xixis is back with the program as its new head coach.

“I’m excited to get started. There’s a whole lot to sort through in the first week or so getting everything set up and planned,” Xixis said. “I’m excited to get rolling and get our conditioning going and get everything set so we can get started with summer practice.

On Saturday, Coffee County Middle School’s Naomi Abiose placed second in the Division AA Girl’s High Jump event at the TMSAA State Championship Meet in Clarksville, Tennessee.

On Saturday, the Coffee Middle Red Raiders fell 3-2 to Blackman in the Section Semifinals while the Lady Raiders beat Page 7-4 in the Section Semifinals before losing to Oakland in the Section Championship.

On Friday, Coffee County Middle’s Naomi Abiose placed first in the high jump, Sunday Orner placed first in the long jump and the Red Raiders picked up several top three event finishes in the Central Tennessee Conference Track and Field Championships at Raider Academy.

On Friday night, the CCMS Lady Raiders beat the Stewarts Creek Lady Falcons 4-1 and the Red Raiders edged out the Mill Creek Mavericks 2-0 as both Coffee County Middle School Teams advanced to the Section Semifinals.
