With a pair of convincing wins last week, the Livingston Academy Boys Soccer team completed the regular season with a fine 8-5-1 record and set for the district tournament which started at home last Monday night.
Following an almost week of inactivity, the district champ Wildcats traveled to Watertown for a make-up game on Tuesday and came home with a 6-0 shutout. Bryson Mann got the “hat trick”, scoring three goals. Jagger Hammock, Dylan Holman, and Dylan Watson each had a single goal.
Thursday, Jackson County came to Livingston for the final regular season game and again the Wildcats produced a shutout, this time 5-0.
This time, it was Holman who produced the “hat trick” with three goals. Jackson Lindsay and Hammock each added a goal.
Monday night, the Wildcats hosted Upperman, a team they beat 6-0 in regular season play.
Livingston will join the other district teams to complete the tournament at DeKalb County, today, Tuesday, May 7 at 5p.m.
