JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WCYB) — Saturday was Senior Day for ETSU Softball as they hosted Wofford. All three seniors were able to throw out a first pitch before senior Whitley Arnott hopped into the circle for the start. The seniors honored were Arnott, Kaylee Higgins, and Faith Adams.
Arnott picked up three strikeouts in the complete game, only giving up one run. Unfortunately for Arnott, the run support was no where to be found. The Bucs tried to get something going in the third as Jasmine Sanchez reached on an error and two outs later Brylee Mesusan reached on a bunt single. Riley Nayadley singled down the third base line, but ETSU would strand the bases loaded.
ETSU fell 1-0 in game one and 6-0 in game two.
