2024 Big Ones Contest Has Begun...Just Because I Miss Football Season

Yes, it is way too early but you have until 7PM ET (6 CT) on August 23 (or maybe the 22nd) so, no excuses.

The games chosen right now are from the ones currently in our schedule for Week One. There will be others added as we move along. Games are chosen by using last year's records until Week Three when we begin using the current season's records.

For newcomers, you just have to be logged into these free message boards and make your picks each week by 6PM CT on the opening day and every game day thereafter until Nov 1. At that time the postseason contest will begin.

Warning: don't believe anything you read on here (except from me :) ).

The games posted now are the ones currently in the 2024 schedules. More will be added at time passes. All east TN games for Week One should be in the schedules now.

      2024 Mustangs

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
