The Eaglettes’ and Eagles’ talons were sharper than the Scotts Hill Lions’ claws last Tuesday.
Both Chester County teams earned themselves a good victory.
The Eaglettes were down most of the first half, but they entered halftime just down by one point, 17-16, after Eaglette Jena Melton hit a three to put themselves in the position on the scoreboard.
To start the seond half, Jariyah Williamson got her team the lead immediately with a three-pointer. After that, the Eaglettes took control of the game and ran away with it until the end with a 53-40 win.
The Chester County girls were 80% from the free throw line which defintely helped them out.
The Eagles’ matchup against Scotts Hill was close the majority of the game, but Chester County maintained the lead the entire game.
At different times, the Lions were on the heels of the Eagles, but the Eagles managed to keep control of the court and separate themselves on the scoreboard.
The final score was 63-54.
Now the Eaglettes are 2-1 and the Eagles are 3-0.
