Nathan Wagner and Trevor Sinard put together some big performances last week as the Stone Memorial High School Panthers and Lady Panthers competed in the Colonel Ross Memorial Track Invitational at York Institute in Jamestown.

Wagner set the pace for the Stone boys with blistering paces in the 800 and 1,600 meter races.

He posted a time of 2 minutes, 4 seconds in the 800 and he finished the 1,600 with a winning time of 4:40.

Sinard won the discus and the shot put with great throws. He finished the discus with a distance of 148 feet, 5 inches.

He finished with a distance of 46-5.75 to capture the title in the shot put.

Sophia Barton came up two top-10 efforts in the 400 meters and long jump.

Barton had a time of 1 minute, 6 seconds in the 400, which put her third overall.

She also finished eighth in the long jump with a leap of 12 feet, one-half inch.
