Livingston Academy’s wrestling team makes school history at the TSSAA State Championship.
2 highest State placers in Livingston Academy history:
John Geist placed 2nd in the 215# weight class
Kaden Weitzel placed 3rd in the 157# weight class
Livingston Academy had 6 state qualifiers - senior John Geist, senior Kollin Weitzel, junior Abril
Dimas, sophomore Landon Shaw, sophomore Kaden Weitzel, and sophomore Jordan Geist.
Livingston has never had this many state qualifiers, this in itself is also a new school record.
The combined points from all 6 state qualifiers placed Livingston Academy
11th out of 50 schools that were represented.
TSSAA State Championship was held at the Williamson County Agricultural Expo
in Franklin on February 23 -24.
