Cumberland County High School athletic director Steven Miller has announced that Christian Goodwin, the former basketball coach at Jemison High School in Huntsville, AL, has been named the new boys basketball coach at CCHS.
Goodwin will formally be announced as coach in a ceremony May 4 at 1 p.m. in the high school gym.
Goodwin replaces former coach Taylor Denney.
