On Tuesday afternoon, the Cocke County track and field program hosted the first annual Mark Hawk Track and Field Elementary Invitational for schools across the county.
“I think it went really well, a lot smoother than I had anticipated,” said CCHS track and field coach Daniel Dudley. “Not too many hiccups, and I’ll credit Coach Cerver and my wife for that. Our track kids did a great job helping run events and working with the younger kids, so that was cool to see.
