Oliver Pitches West Ridge to Regular Season Ending Win at Volunteer
West Ridge closed the regular season riding the pitching of Kade Oliver to a 5-1 victory over Volunteer at Joey Seaver Field.
Oliver went the distance allowing five hits and striking out four as the Wolves finished 10-15 heading into next week’s District 1-AAAA Tournament.
Reagan Moore drove in two runs without a hit for West Ridge. Jaxson Bolling and Dale Martin also drove in runs.
Isaiah Bowery and Aden Parsons both had two hits for Volunteer (15-14). Bowery drove in Parsons with the Falcons only run.
