HUNTSVILLE, Alabama -- Huntsville High golfer Blake Messer signed with Auburn last week.
Messer was named to the Huntsville Times All-Area first team following his junior season. He shot 73 at the North 1 Sub-State tournament, and a 71 to place second in the TOC Invitational.
This past summer, Messer won a sudden-death playoff to claim the AJGA Under Armour/Jeff Overton Championship at The Ledges in Huntsville, and placed fifth at the AJGA Southwind tournament in Memphis.
