Southside led 1-0 after one inning. Kylie Roberts scored on a single by Chaney McCance.
Beebe took a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the third. The Lady Badgers pushed the lead to 4-1 in the fifth inning.
Southside scored twice in the top of the sixth to cut the deficit to 4-3. Roberts scored on a ground out by Carlee Duncan. McCance then scored on a ground out by Kaitlyn Roberts.
Southside tied it at 4-4 in the top of the seventh. Sydney Canard was hit by a pitch to start the inning. She eventually scored with two outs when Bailey Caddy reached on an error.
Beebe scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh. The run was unearned.
Duncan pitched well for the Lady Southerners. Only two of her five runs were earned. He gave up five hits and four walks while striking out four.
Southside had only two hits in the game – one easy by McCance and Abby Trucks.
Last Friday, Southside fell to Morrilton 6-0.
Morrilton scored three in the first, one in the third and two in the sixth.
Southside had three hits in the game – one each by McCance, Duncan and Darby Martin.
