Clark Carston, one of eight seniors on the Justin-Siena JV boys lacrosse team who were recognized before their season finale Thursday night, scored two goals to help lead the Braves to an 8-3 victory over Branson at Dodd Stadium.
Dexter Norup also scored twice for Justin-Siena, which finished its inaugural season of boys lacrosse with records of 11-2 overall and 11-1 in the Marin County Athletic League.
Seniors Conor Hampson and Rod Sweeney added one goal apiece, while Chris Darrin had a goal and assist, Brian Pires one goal, and Henry Mattei one assist.
The Braves led 5-0 at halftime, and were up 8-0 before the Bulls scored.
Branson showed up with the minimum 10 players, but lost a player to injury just before halftime. At that point, Justin-Siena coaches Chris Jaurique and Mike DiGiulio agreed to play a 9-on-9 game.

The Bulls scored their last two goals in the final minute.
Justin-Siena’s other seniors were Chris Somers, Davis Foley, Corey Granata, Jerry Pujals and Ivan Colin.
“Chris and I are very happy with this season,” said DiGiulio, whose team had avenged its only league loss with a win over Redwood four days before.
“We had a great group of kids.”
DiGiulio said this was “kind of a probationary season,” to see if the Braves could show up to all of their scheduled games and follow league rules.
He expects they will be approved to have their first varsity team next year, with as many as 21 of this year’s JV players and a dozen newcomers from the Napa Junior Lacrosse Club varsity team trying out for it.
