MIAMI COUNTRY DAY NOTES: The Spartans won their state semifinal 66-44 over Tampa Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate. … Andrea Daley (20), Kayla Nelms (19), Kristina Godfrey (14) and Charisse Martin (11) all reached double figures in scoring. Daily also pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds. … The Spartans shot 67% for the game (26-for-39). … Miami Country Day won the state title six straight seasons from 2014-19 after finishing as state runner-up in 2013. … The Spartans enter the final with a 20-game winning streak. … Miami Country Day’s most recent setback was 53-47 to Orlando Timber Creek on Nov. 28. … Miami Country Day is ranked 19th in the country and seventh in the state by MaxPreps with a 17.2 strength of schedule.
