It's time to pick the Naples Daily News Athlete of the Week sponsored by Babcock Ranch for March 1-7.

The Daily News staff will select one finalist in each sport. Nominees are derived from scores and stats emailed in by Collier County’s coaches during the week. Readers can then vote on who the winner should be.

Each week the finalists for Athlete of the Week will be announced Monday morning, and the voting in the poll will go until 10 a.m. Thursday. Voting is restricted to once per hour per device.

There will be no Athlete of the Week poll next week because Collier County schools will be on spring break. The next poll will be published March 22 and will include results from the previous two weeks (March 8-21).
