ETSU Softball picked up a win in their final home game of the season.

After two hard-fought losses on Saturday, the Bucs were back in action Sunday afternoon looking for some revenge.

The Bucs started with a strong fielding effort in the first before allowing two runs in the second. A pitching change would set the tone and the Bucs were able to hold the Terriers.

The gamechanger for ETSU was a fifth inning effort. Faith Adams setting the tone with the leadoff single before Jasmine Sanchez could follow it up with another single. A walk would load the bases and bring Cameron Young to the plate.

Young collected the Bucs first RBI of the game with the sac-fly to cut Wofford's lead to one. Riley Nayadley would follow it up with a single of her own to make it a tied ball game.

A pitching change came for Wofford but all the Bucs needed was an RBI groundout from Taylor Suchy to give them the go-ahead run.

A three hit, three run fifth is all it took for ETSU to seal the 3-2 victory and end the weekend on a high note.

Kendall Thackston got the win for the Bucs in the circle after throwing five scoreless innings only allowing one hit and collecting one strikeout.

Up next for ETSU is a double header at App State on Tuesday.
