Inman got in a pair of wins while the Henry County Patriots middle school team was eliminated by a loss in the opening games of the Area 5 baseball tournament Thursday and Friday at McNeill Park.
Inman advanced on Thursday by routing Camden 17-7 and followed up with a 7-2 victory over McKenzie on Friday.
Huntingdon blanked Henry County 4-0 on Thursday.
BULLDOGS 17, LIONS 7
Inman scored multiple runs in every inning of the game to pull away for the big win over Camden on Thursday.
Leading the heavy hitting for Inman was Charlie Davis with three hits, including a double. He drove in three runs and scored three times.
Brice Donaldson added two hits and drove in three runs, while Reece Killion had two hits. Lewis Hudson hit a double and a single while driving three runs. Isaiah McDonald smacked a double.
Hudson, Jackson Ridgeway, John Carter Olive, Norman Duncan and Cam Collins all pitched in the game.
BULLDOGS 7, REBELS 2
Inman continued to hit well on Friday with a five-run fifth inning putting the win away over McKenzie.
Donaldson added two more hits and drove in four runs. Davis had two hits, while Hudson doubled to drive in two runs. Olive ripped a run-scoring double, and Sam Patterson also hit a double.
Donaldson, Hudson Cepparulo and Davis all pitched for Inman.
MUSTANGS 4, PATRIOTS 0
Henry County couldn’t get any offense going against Huntingdon and saw their season end with a 7-6 record.
Kaine Gallimore and Matt Parrish had the Patriots’ only hits.
Peyton Charles, Devin Valentine, Gallimore and Parrish all pitched in the contest.
