Lady Trojans top Warren County for home win

The Lady Trojans allowed just two points in the opening period as they took an early lead.

They led 6-2 after one quarter.

The Lady Trojans got their offense going in the second quarter as they put up 16 points to push their advantage to double digits.

They led 22-11 at halftime.

The Lady Trojans added a few more points to their lead as they remained in firm control of the scoreboard.

They led 31-15 going into the final period.

The Lady Pioneers remained behind by a decent margin throughout the fourth quarter as the Lady Trojans went on to win by 10 points.

Na’Kayjah Holman led the Lady Trojans with 11 points for the game, followed by Shayla Kennerly with 10 points and Auna Foster with five.

Sabree May scored four points, Ava Yates scored three and Alanta May scored two.

With the win, the Lady Trojans improved to 3-4 on the season.

They will next play Thursday at East Middle School. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
