The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football team heads to Miller Plaza on Friday, Sept. 5, at 12:00 p.m. (E.D.T.) for a Pep Rally hosted by the River City Company.
The UTC Marching Band, Cheerleaders, Sugar Mocs and Scrappy will all join head coach Russ Huesman and selected members of the team to get fans ready for Saturday's huge home opener against No. 9 Jacksonville State.
Miller Plaza is located on the corner of Market Street and MLK Blvd. in Downtown Chattanooga. Tickets will be on sale at the Pep rally on Friday, so stop by and get yours between Noon and 1:00 p.m. The first 50 fans who buys tickets for Saturday's game at the Pep Rally will get a FREE WHITEOUT T-shirt.
UTC is currently ranked No. 13 in the nation, making this one of the biggest regular season games in Finley Stadium history. It is also a WHITEOUT and fans are encouraged to wear white to the game.
Thousands of WHITEOUT items will be given away at the gate, including T-shirts, pom poms and thundersticks. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. with tailgating beginning as early as 8:00 a.m.
Tickets begin at $10 for youth and can be purchased the following ways:
- At the Pep Rally on Friday in Miller Plaza from Noon to 1:00 p.m.
- At the McKenzie Arena Box Office (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).
- Calling the UTC Ticket Office at (423) 266-MOCS (6627).
- At the Finley Stadium Pavilion Ticket Booth on Friday (11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)
- On gameday at Finley Stadium beginning at Noon.
