Baylor Leading After Day One Of State Swim Meet

 The Baylor School is off to a hot start after day one of the TISCA State Swimming & Diving Championships. After Friday evening finals Baylor is first in the combined team standings, while the boys have the top spot with just an eleven point lead over Memphis University School. The Baylor girls are currently in fourth and just thirteen points out of third place.

The swim of the evening was Trey Freeman in the 200 yard freestyle. Freeman's time of 1:34.92 is a new TISCA State Record. Trey broke his own state record from last year by two seconds. The boys 200 yard medley relay of Zach Althoff, Matthew Boyer, Peter Lochmaier, and Gershwin Greene finished second with an automatic high school all-american time of 1:31.33. The Baylor School girls 200 yard medley relay of Jamee Mitchum, Addison Smith, Sam Suer, and Jewel Gordon finished sixth overall in the event.
