East Ridge scored five goals in the first half and one in the second to win their final game of the regular season 6-0 over Central.
Rijad Kazic and Adam Adem had two goals each. Darian Smith also scored. Kazic also had two assists.
East Ridge improves to 13-2-2 overall and 3-1 in the district.
Howard is the top seed going into the District 8-AA tournament. East Ridge is the second seed. East Ridge will host Hixson next Tuesday in the first round. Howard will host the winner of Red Bank and Sequatchie on Tuesday. Winners of the semifinals will play on Thursday.
