Patriots break up a pass

Henry County Patriots’ defenders James Bobbitt (center) and Garrett Perkins (right) race in to cause a Dresden receiver to drop a pass in the second quarter of a middle school football game played Thursday at Barton Field. Henry County lost quarterback Tyson Hornbuckle to injury in the first half and trailed 16-0 at halftime. The Lions continued to play well in the second half and added 22 more points while blanking the Patriots to give Dresden the 38-0 win. Henry County slips to 1-2 on the season. The Patriots will travel to Houston County next Thursday for a game starting at 6:30 p.m.
