CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (ESPN Clarksville) Clarksville Academy (CA) took on King’s Academy at Simpson Field for the first round of the playoffs Friday night. The Cougars were down 27-3 in the second quarter but they battled back for a 44-33 playoff win.

Clarksville Academy’s defense stepped up in the second half of the game. King’s Academy quarterback, Andrew Blair, was intercepted four times. CA’s Bryce Robinson had 293 yards of total offense, rushed for 1 TD and threw 1 TD, and also grabbed an interception while playing defense.

Jakobi Milan had 44 yards rushing and two touchdowns. Shawn Scott had three catches for a total of 69 yards and 1 TD. Landry Forte had 59 yards rushing and 1 TD. Calvin Gray had 13 yards and 1 TD.
