CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (ESPN Clarksville) The Lady Cougars picked up a close win against the Lady Vikings at Williard Ross Memorial Gym, Thursday night. The lead changed hands multiple times during the game but Clarksville Academy held on for a 52-51 win.

Nichole Hunter and Vana Pridgen had 13 points each to lead the Cougars to the win. Sidney Boykin had 10 points. Northwest’s Tamia Scott led her team in scoring with 16 points, Madison King had 13 points, and Kayla Howell ended with 8 points.

The Cougars travel to Stewart County next Tuesday and Northwest plays Trousdale County on Saturday.
