Lausanne's Eric Gray runs in for a score against St. George earlier this season.

Lausanne running back Eric Gray and kicker Isaac Weiss have raised more than $20,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital this season.

Their good work was highlighted Sunday on CBS's pregame show, "NFL Today." The piece was narrated by Weiss.

The pair shared the goal – a donation for each extra point kicked by Weiss and touchdown scored by Gray – on Twitter before the season began. They initially hoped to raise $10,000, but the total of fans' donations now exceeds $21,000

Gray scored three touchdowns in Lausanne's opening game against Rosa Fort High School to start the project.

Lausanne fell 21-14 to CPA in the state semifinals Friday.

Gray, a Michigan commitment who is the eighth-ranked college prospect in the state, said Friday he was keeping his college options open and visited Tennessee on Saturday.
