Memphis high school football rankings heading into Round 4 of TSSAA playoffs
1. Horn Lake (13-0): The Eagles advanced to the Mississippi 6A North state finals with a 35-14 win over Starkville. Nakobe Dean and Raydarious Jones combined for four rushing touchdowns in the win. Last week: No. 3. This week: Friday vs. Madison Central
2. MUS (11-0): The Owls defense held McCallie to just a touchdown in a 10-7 Division II-AAA semifinal win. Sellers Shy threw for 258 yards, and Hunter Kendall scored a rushing touchdown. Last week: No. 4. This week: Idle
3. Olive Branch (12-1): The Conquistadors shut out Holmes County Central 21-0 to advance to the Mississippi 5A North state finals. Gary Banks rushed for 113 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. Last week: No. 5. This week: Friday at West Point
4. Lausanne (11-1): Lausanne's 38-game winning streak came to an end in Nashville with a 21-14 loss to CPA in the DII-AA semifinals. 8. Kirby (11-2): The Cougars lost 42-20 to Henry County in the 5A quarterfinals. Kirby ended up with the top offense and defense in 8-5A in terms of points scored. Last week: No. 6. This week: Season complete.
