Cumberland County High School has named Eric Belew as the new head football coach for the school.

Belew comes to CCHS from Landmark Christian School in Fairburn, GA. Before going to Georgia, he coached under Bobby Sharp, a 2017 inductee in the Tennessee Football Coaches Hall of Fame, in Lewis County.

He graduated from Columbia Central High School where he played football and won a state championship under the leadership of his father, Vance Belew, a two-time Tennessee Coach of the Year. He played collegiately at Tennessee Technological University and then the University of North Alabama.

He will begin coaching and teaching at CCHS in January. He will be formally introduced to the community at a basketball game following Christmas break.
