Red Bank's Calvin Jackson (5) pulls in a catch against Sequatchie County during the second round of the TSSAA Class 3A playoffs at Red Bank Community Stadium on Friday, Nov. 9, 2018 in Red Bank, Tenn.

After an undefeated regular season and third straight region championship, Red Bank's football team had two players named to the Tennessee Sports Writers Association Class 3A all-state team. Lions senior receiver Calvin Jackson and junior linebacker Clark Lockerby were joined on the 3A team by Signal Mountain defensive lineman Jake Woodlief.

Four local players earned spots on the 4A team, including East Hamilton senior kicker Mason Lafollette and junior linebacker Aidan Holt as well as East Ridge defensive back Alonzo Russell and Howard defensive back Darren Kinamore.

Jackson, a Wofford signee and two-time state Mr. Football semifinalist, overcame an early injury to finish with more than 1,200 all-purpose yards. Lockerby's 69 tackles led a Lions defense that held 11 opponents to 21 points or less.

"The just speaks volumes for how respected the Red Bank program has been around the state and to the abilities of Calvin and Clark," Lions coach Chris Brown said. "Calvin has been a tremendous leader for our team for several years. He's played every offensive skill position, and Clark has become one of the most consistent contributors we've got on the defensive side.

"They're both really deserving, and I'm happy for them to be honored."

Woodlief totaled 115 tackles, 17 for loss and five sacks for the Eagles in 2018. Lafollette was a Mr. Football Kicker of the Year finalist after making all seven field-goal attempts, including one from 53 yards, two from 48 and another from 43. Holt made 120 total tackles and seven for lost yardage and forced three fumbles, despite playing the last nine games of the season with a torn meniscus that required offseason surgery.

East Ridge's Russell had 55 tackles and three interceptions to go with more than 2,600 all-purpose offensive yards, and Kinamore had seven interceptions and broke up nine passes for the Hustlin' Tigers.
