Tennessean All-Midstate volleyball team 2018
FIRST TEAM
All members of the Tennessean All-Midstate volleyball first team are nominees for the volleyball player of the year. The winner will be announced on May 31 at the fourth annual Tennessean Sports Awards presented by Farm Bureau Health Plans.

Position: Libero
Why chosen: The Furman signee had 620 digs with 50 aces and 51 assists to help lead the Lady Bruins to the Class AAA championship.

Why chosen: The Chattanooga commitment had 1,327 assists with 239 digs, 114 kills and 46 aces for the Class AAA runner-up Lady Stars.

Why chosen: The Missouri State beach volleyball signee had 701 kills with 410 digs and 67 aces to help lead the Lady Panthers to a second straight Class AA championship.

Why chosen: The College of Charleston signee had 1,531 assists with 281 digs, 115 kills and 49 aces to help lead the Lady Bruins to the Class AAA championship.

Why chosen: Campbell guided Brentwood to its sixth consecutive Class AAA state championship, beating Siegel 3-0 in the final. Brentwood finished 47-3 for the season.
