Here’s a look at the top 10 Nashville-area girls high school basketball teams, as ranked by the USA TODAY Network – Tennessee.

1. Riverdale (15-1) — The Lady Warriors extended their win streak against in-state opponents to 74 with wins over Blackman and Siegel. Last week: No. 1.

2. Ensworth (11-1) — Dontavia Waggoner (20.6 ppg) leads the Lady Tigers into a Tuesday meeting with Brentwood Academy in a rematch of last year’s Division II-AA state championship. Last week: No. 2.

3. East Nashville (17-1) — The Lady Eagles host Maplewood in a battle of two of the top teams in District 10-AA. Last week: No. 3.

4. Blackman (15-3) — Blackman recovered from a 17-point loss to Riverdale with a 26-point rout of Stewarts Creek. Last week: No. 4.

5. Beech (16-4) — Mia Dean and Deshiya Hoosier combined for 36 points and eight 3-pointers in a win over Lebanon to remain in the driver’s seat in District 9-AAA. Last week: No. 5.

6. Brentwood Academy (12-3) — The Lady Eagles beat Chattanooga Division II powers Girls Preparatory School and Baylor by an average of 43 points this past week. Last week: No. 6.

7. Macon County (17-4) — The Tigerettes travel to Upperman on Tuesday in a rematch of last year’s overtime loss to the Lady Bees. Last week: No. 7.

8. Upperman (16-3) — Reagan Hurst (17.4 ppg) leads the two-time defending Class AA state champions, who have won six straight. Last week: No. 9.

9. Mt. Juliet (15-3) — Reghan Grimes scored 18 points in a 64-28 rout of Hendersonville. Last week: No. 10.

10. Dickson County (14-3) — The Lady Cougars have won 10 straight and can avenge their lone District 11-AAA loss Friday at Brentwood. Last week: NR.
