Baylor Swimmers Defeat GPS, McCallie

Baylor swimmers took wins over GPS and McCallie.

Addison Smith and Jewel Gordon won two events each and the Raiders swept the relays to lead the Baylor girls' swim team to a 206-102 win over GPS in the Baylor Aquatic Center.

Smith won the 200 individual medley and the 100 butterfly while Gordon was first in the 50 freestyle and the 100 breaststroke.

Other event winners for Baylor were Calli West (200 freestyle), Haley Rice (one-meter diving), Ellie Waldrep (100 freestyle), and Heidi Dierig (500 freestyle). Baylor won the 200 medley relay (Waldrep, Gordon, Smith, Jamee Mitchum), the 200 freestyle relay (Waldrep, Smith, West, Gordon), and the 400 freestyle relay (West, Avery Wilson, Dierig, Mitchum).

Jack Kirby, Alex Borisov and Will Tippett had strong meets as the Baylor boys beat the Blue Tornado 161-148.

Kirby won the 50 freestyle and the 100 backstroke, Borisov took first in the 200 IM and the 100 butterfly, and Tippett won the 100 breaststroke. The Raider trio also swam in two winning relays, the 200 medley (Kirby, Daniel Unhuryan, Borisov, Tippett) and the 200 freestyle (Kirby, Borisov, Tippett, Aidan Sims).
