CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) – Clarksville Academy senior football standout, Devon Terwilliger, signed with Bethel University Wednesday morning.
Terwilliger was a key contributor on the offensive line for the Cougars this season. Clarksville Academy’s rushing attack averaged 5.2 yards per carry while Terwilliger at his tackle spot. He was also named to the Leaf-Chronicle All-Area Team.
Coaches said Terwilliger has shown great leadership for the Clarksville Academy Football program on and off the field.
Off the field, Terwilliger is a member of the National Honor Society and the National Society of High School Scholars.
Terwilliger is the son of Stacey Terwilliger and David Hines. He is the grandson of Lurlie and David Hines, and Nancy Hatton.
