West Creek's Jaylen Negron named athlete of week in Clarksville

In one of the biggest landslides in the poll's history, West Creek star Jaylen Negron was named Clarksville's athlete of the week for Jan. 7-12.

The poll closed Thursday with Negron gobbling up 91.9 percent of the votes. He totaled 1,258 votes. The next closest vote-getter finished with just over 50 total votes.

Negron scored 25 points as West Creek beat District 10-AAA rival Henry County by 29 points last week.
