Here's a look at the top Nashville-area high school girls basketball teams, as ranked by the USA TODAY Network — Tennessee. 

1. Riverdale (25-1) – The Lady Warriors play for their third straight District 7-AAA tournament championship on Monday. Last week: No. 1.

2. Ensworth (25-2) – The Lady Tigers open postseason play with St. Cecilia on Tuesday. Last week: No. 2.

3. Brentwood Academy (23-4) – The Lady Eagles play the winner of St. Mary’s and St. Agnes on Friday to get to the TSSAA Division II-AA state semifinals. Last week: No. 3.

4. Macon County (25-5) – District 8-AA Player of the Year Keeley Carter has led the Tigerettes into the league championship game. Last week: No. 4.

5. Blackman (21-5) – The Lady Blaze face top-ranked Riverdale with a chance to win their first district title in four seasons. Last week: No. 5.

6. Beech (25-5) – The Lady Buccaneers face Lebanon in the District 9-AAA title game on Monday in their first district championship game since 2016. Last week: No. 6.

7. Upperman (25-4) – The Lady Bees can avenge their lone District 8-AA loss of the season to Macon County on Monday in the league championship. Last week: No. 7.

8. Rossview (24-3) – The Lady Hawks face Henry County on Monday in a rematch of the Lady Patriots’ win over Rossview in last year’s District 10-AAA championship. Last week: No. 10.

9. Dickson County (23-5) – First-year coach Erin Webb has the Lady Cougars in their seventh straight district championship game. Last week: Not ranked.

10. Cheatham County (23-3) – Emmy Nelson and Abbi Douglas have led the Lady Cubs to the District 9-AA championship, where they face White House Heritage on Monday. Last week: Not ranked.
