Region roundup: Beech girls win 10th straight to reach Region 5-AAA semifinals
District 9-AAA tournament champion Beech won its 10th straight game on Friday with a 69-42 win over Clarksville Northwest in a Region 5-AAA girls basketball quarterfinal.
Deshiya Hoosier scored 22 points to lead the Lady Buccaneers (27-5). Jana Claire Swafford added 15 points and Kayla Howell scored 11. Madison King had 19 points for Northwest in the loss.
Wilson Central 54, Rossview 48: Nicole Brill had 19 points and Sydnee Richetto scored 17 in Wilson Central's upset win over District 10-AAA champion Rossview in the Region 5-AAA quarterfinals. Teoria Woods added 13 points for the Lady Wildcats.
Cookeville 58, Cleveland 54: Chloe Grace Savage led the Lady Cavs with 23 points in their Region 3-AAA quarterfinal win. Teammate KK Graves added 14 points.
Brentwood 63, Antioch 44: Amelia Osgood scored 25 points to pace the Lady Bruins into the Region 6-AAA semifinals.

Brentwood Academy 72, St. Agnes 30: Maggie Brown had 20 points and Blair Schoenwald added 12 in the Lady Eagles’ win in Division II-AA quarterfinal. Teammate Carolina Clemmer had 10 points. The Lady Eagles play at Lipscomb University's Allen Arena on Thursday in the DII-AA semifinals.
Ensworth 56, Harpeth Hall 29: Kaiya Wynn led Ensworth with 16 points to reach the Division II-AA semifinals. in their win over Harpeth Hall in Division II-AA. Annabel Frist had 14 and Dontavia Waggoner added 12.
Nolensville 61, Hickman County 35: Grace Baird and Parker Leftwich each had 19 points for the Lady Knights in their win in Region 6-AA. Leftwich added seven assists and six steals. Teammate Sydney Mickulin had 12 points.
Cheatham Co. 68, Pearl-Cohn 34: Abbi Douglas led the Lady Cubs with 17 points in their Region 5-AA quarterfinal win. Harper Dee scored 12 points and Emmy Nelson and Eryn Nelson added 10 apiece.
Kiah Hayes-Woods had 19 points for Pearl Cohn.
White House Heritage 52, M. L. King 48: Kelsey Russell led White House Heritage with 20 points in the Lady Patriots' Region 5-AA quarterfinal win. Staten Holmes added 13 points for the Lady Patriots and Alex Green had 11. Tia Floyd scored 25 points for M.L. King.
East Nashville 60, Greenbrier 24: A'Niya Young scored 16 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in the Lady Eagles' Region 5-AA quarterfinal win. Teammates London Fairs added 16 points and Quentarra Mitchell had nine points and 10 rebounds.
Creek Wood 42, Community 41: Ragan Hohl's 3-pointer at the buzzer gave the Lady Red Hawks the Region 6-AA quarterfinal win. Hohl also had four assists and three rebounds. Emily Michael hit five 3-pointers to finish with 15 points.
Upperman 69, Sequatchie Co. 30: Regan Hurst finished with 23 points as the two-time defending Class AA state champion Lady Bees reached the Region 4-AA semifinals.. Brooke Shrum and Ashland McClellan each scored 11 points for Uppemran.
Clarkrange 78, South Pittsburg 24: Kassie Monday had 21 points, including two 3-pointers, and her sister Kaylie Monday added 16 points to lead the Lady Buffaloes to a Region 3-A quarterfinal win. Chloe Howard added 14 points for Clarkrange.
McEwen 67, Culleoka 34: Cassidy Nihoff scored 29 points for a win over Culleoka in the Region 5-A quarterfinals. Dakota Hankins added 11 points and Heather Nihoff scored 10 for the Lady Warriors. Madison Ingram had 12 points for Culleoka.
