Pioneers Surprise Vikings in Street's Big 7 Debut

BRISTOL, Tenn. – David Crockett baseball coach Spencer Street made quite a first impression Monday at Tennessee High’s Todd Houston Field.
In his Big Seven Conference coaching debut, Street managed his Pioneers to a 13-7 victory against the Vikings, who were picked to win the league.
Left-hander Luke Adams (1-1) allowed two earned runs in 5 2/3 innings and sophomore catcher Dakota Stout went 4-for-5 with two runs and an RBI for Crockett (1-0, 2-3). Not bad for a team that went 9-22 last year and was picked to finish sixth in the Big Seven this season.
