Mitchell Leads CCS Baseball Past Grace, 13-5

Ben Mitchell knocked in four runs to lead Chattanooga Christian baseball past Grace Baptist Academy, 13-5, on Tuesday.

John Rhodes added two RBIs and Taylor Anand had one for the Chargers.

Grace scored twice in the bottom of the second to pull within 3-2. However, CCS added another run in the top of the third and four more in the fourth. Grace scored three runs in the final two innings, but CCS added five more.

CCS won in the hitting category 13-5. Grace committed five errors, while the Chargers had three.

Cole Headrick was the winning pitcher.
