North Gets Softball, Baseball Wins

The Sullivan North Raiders and Lady Raiders both recorded road victories on Tuesday evening.
The Lady Raiders got a two-out tie-breaking single from Elaina Gilliam to scored courtesy runner Malaika Freeman in the top of the seventh for a 9-8 win at University High while Hunter Dingus tossed a one-hitter in a 3-1 baseball victory at Hampton.
Sullivan North 3, Hampton 1 - Baseball
HAMPTON — Tyler Bowman and Cole Bear both had two hits apience in support of Dingus. Bear also drove in a run.
Morgan Lyons recorded the lone Bulldog base hit.
Sullivan North 9, University High 8 - Softball
Kaitlyn Lemmons, Alexis Lipoma and Makayla Estep all produced a pair of hits for the Lady Raiders, who piled up a dozen hits on the day.
Estep drove in three runs, Lipoma tripled and drove in two and Lemmons scored three times.
In the circle, Brooklyn Robinson worked four innings for the victory, allowing four unearned runs.
Emily Morgan and Aly Abia and Emily Morgan each had two hits and Katy Stancil drove in two runs for University High.
