SEYMOUR—The Cocke County High School baseball team will be taking the long route for the remainder of its stay at the District 2-AAA tournament.

The seventh-seeded Fighting Cocks fell to No. 2 Sevier County 13-2 in five innings in Thursday's first round game at Seymour High School.
