Top Nashville area offensive, defensive linemen returning for 2019

With high school football teams participating in spring practice around Tennessee, here is a look at the top 15 Nashville offensive and defensive linemen returning for 2019.

Jason Amsler, Franklin, Jr. Amsler, an offensive tackle, already has offers from Missouri and Vanderbilt.

Fisher Anderson, Franklin, So. Anderson, an offensive tackle, has offers from Kentucky, Missouri, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Graham Barton, Ravenwood, Sr. Barton, a Duke commitment, is a three-star prospect. He was a Tennessean All-Midstate first team selection in 2018.

Jason Eaton, Clarksville, Sr. Eaton was a third team offensive lineman on last year's All-Midstate team. He has offers from Indiana, Kentucky, LSU and South Carolina.

William Griffin, Pearl-Cohn, Jr. The Firebirds' offensive tackle already has received offers from Louisville, South Carolina, Tennessee and Tulane.

Noah Josey, Brentwood Academy, Jr. The guard boasts more than 15 FBS offers, including from Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky and Vanderbilt.

Jarrett Mathews, CPA, Sr. Mathews, a center, is a three-year starter and helped anchor an offensive line that broke the school record for yards per game.

Javon Nelson, Riverdale, Jr. Nelson, a defensive end, has 10 offers, including from Georgia, Kentucky, Louisville, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Vanderbilt. He had 23 tackles and two sacks a year ago.

Paxton Powell, Columbia Academy, Sr. Powell is a two-way player, playing offensive tackle and defensive tackle.

Michael Reese, Cane Ridge, Sr. The three-star defensive tackle has offers from Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee and Vanderbilt. He had 31 tackles and six sacks in 2018.

Tre’vonn Rybka, Dickson Co., Sr. Rybka is a three-star defensive tackle with more than 20 offers, including from Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU and Tennessee.

Gabriel Sleenhof, Ravenwood, Sr. Sleenhof was a Tennessean All-Midstate second team selection in 2018. The offensive tackle helps anchor a line that averaged more than 31 points a game in 2018.

Gary Smith, Shelbyville, Sr. The three-star offensive and defensive tackle has offers from Duke, Kentucky, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Vanderbilt. He had 65 tackles in 2018.

Eli Sutton, Brentwood Academy, Jr. The offensive tackle already has plenty of FBS offers, including from Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, LSU, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.

Dallas Walker, Smyrna, Sr. The three-star defensive tackle has more than 17 offers, including from Arkansas, Auburn, Kentucky and Tennessee. He had 55 tackles and eight sacks in 2018.
