Maryville senior running back Tee Hodge recently announced his top nine schools and included the Tennessee Vols among them.

The others were Arkansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue and Virginia Tech.

Hodge is a three-star recruit and No. 21 in Tennessee, according to the 247Sports Composite. He rushed for 792 yards and 19 touchdowns last season. He broke his right leg in a win over Farragut in the Class 6A quarterfinals, which ended his season.

Hodge, who's 6-foot-2, has gained 30 pounds since last season and now weighs 230.

Hodge is the nephew of Randall Cobb, a Dallas Cowboys wide receiver and former Alcoa star. Cobb played at Kentucky before being selected by the Green Bay Packers in the second round of the NFL Draft in 2011.
