Why chosen: The Vanderbilt signee won Division II-A state championships in the 1,600 (5:13.24) and 3,200 (11:10.01).

Brittany Bishop 

Anderson County, Sr. 

Event: Pole vault, 100 hurdles 

Why chosen: Bishop won the Large Class pole vault at 13 feet, the best of all classifications. She finished second in the 100 hurdles in 15 seconds. 

Kensi Gray

Hardin Valley, Sr. 

Event: 800

Why chosen: Gray finished fourth in the Large Class championship in the 800 in 2:17.20.

Caroline Lewis

West, Sr. 

Event: Pentathlon 

Why chosen: Lewis finished fourth in the Large Class pentathlon and had the most points among local athletes. 

Georgie McDevitt

Maryville, Sr. 

Event: 100, triple jump

Why chosen: McDevitt won the Large Class 100 in 11.89 seconds — the top time among local runners. She finished second in the triple jump at 38-3. 

Kendall Medders

Halls, Jr. 

Event: High jump

Why chosen: Medders finished second in the Large Class high jump at 5-6. 

Dominique Romain 

Hardin Valley, So. 

Event: 200

Why chosen: Romain won the KIL championships in the 200 and had the third-best local time in the 200 this season at 25.31 seconds.

Event: Shot put, discus

Why chosen: Schroeder finished second in the Large Class shot put with a throw of 44-4. She also finished second in the discuss with a throw of 125-11.

Why chosen: Jones finished fourth in Large Class 1600 (5:03.41) and second in  3200 (10:50.46). She had the top time among local runners in both.

Event: High jump

Why chosen: Lang won the Large Class high jump with at 5-6. 

Eleanor Mancini

Event: 800

Why chosen: Mancini finished second in the Large Class 800 in 2:15.61, which was tops among local runners.

Event: 300 hurdles

Why chosen: McElhaney placed sixth in the Large Class 300 hurdles in 46.93 seconds.

Event: Long jump

Why chosen: Rice won the Division II-A long jump at 17-7.25.

Event: 400

Why chosen: Zander finished sixth in the Large Class 400 in 58.01 seconds and had the top time among local runners.

Why chosen: The Notre Dame signee won the Large Class state championship in 800 (1:53.80) and the 1,600 (4:14.30). He had the top time in Tennessee in both events.

Event: High jump

Why chosen: Campbell, a Tennessee signee, finished fifth in the Large Class high jump at 6-6. 

Gabel Fulford

Event: 110 hurdles 

Why chosen: Fulford was the state champion in the Division II-A 110 hurdles with a time of 15.67. 

Miguel Parrilla 

Hardin Valley, Sr. 

Event: 800

Why chosen: Parrilla finished third in the 800 in the Large Class state championships with a time of 1:56.34. 

Christian Shouse

Event: Long jump, decathlon

Why chosen: Shouse placed second in the long jump in the Large Class at 22-6.25. He also placed second in the decathlon. 

Chase Smith

Event: Shot put, discus

Why chosen: Smith placed second in the Large Class shot put with a throw of 53-7.50. He finished third in the discus with a throw of 162-3.

Event: 300 hurdles

Why chosen: Warren finished second in the Small Class 300 hurdles with a time of 38.18 seconds.

Why chosen: Young placed third in the Large Class 100 with a time of 10.92 seconds. He finished second in the 200 in 21.67 seconds.
