Tre'vonn Rybka will play in the SEC next year.

The Dickson County three-star defensive tackle announced his commitment to Kentucky on Tuesday. The decision comes three days before the Cougars open the season at Creek Wood.

Rybka, a 6-foot-4, 285-pound senior, chose the Wildcats over Oklahoma, Oregon and Tennessee. He is the No. 14 prospect in the state according to the 247Sports Composite and No. 38 defensive tackle in the country. He is a top-500 recruit for the Class of 2020, falling at No. 412.

Rybka was No. 3 on this year's Tennessean Dandy Dozen, a collection of the top college football prospects in the Nashville area.

Rybka burst into the recruiting world in late January when Cincinnati became the first to offer him. He had more than 20 offers.

Rybka had 60 tackles, including nine for loss in 2018.

Commitments are nonbinding for the athlete or the school. He cannot sign until the early signing period begins on Dec. 18.
