The Franklin County High School boys golf teams played the teams of Shelbyville and Lincoln County in an 18-hole match Tuesday at the River Bend Country Club in Shelbyville.
The Rebels picked up a team victory over both of the district foes as they had three of the four lowest individual scorers of the day.
Nathan Calahan led all golfers for the match with a 2-over 74 for the day. Jack Curtis would finish right behind him with a 3-over 75 to take second in the individual rankings.
Hayden Curl shot an 81 to finish fourth overall as an individual while Caleb Maybrey rounded out the scoring for Franklin County with a 91.
This gave the Rebels a team score of 321 for the day, which was good enough to win by 27 strokes.
The Shelbyville Golden Eagles finished second as a team in the match with a team total of 348 strokes.
Their lowest scorer was Brady O’Neal with an 8-over 80 for the match.
The Lincoln County Falcons placed third overall in the match with a team score of 372 with their lowest score being an 87 recorded by Ross Neal.
The Rebels will next compete on Thursday in a nine-hole match against Lincoln County High School at the Bear Trace at Tims Ford. The match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
