Amid high temperatures and scorching heat, Livingston Academy Cross Country participated in the AF Bridges Invitational this past Saturday, Sept. 14.
The event held at the Steeplechase, located in Percy Warner Park in Nashville, hosted 39 teams.
Although the LA runners did not have enough athletes to qualify as a team, individual athletes were still able to participate in the event. Sophomore Abby Hix had the best time of the LA girls in competition with a time of 27:02, and freshmen Parker Linder led the LA boys yet again with an impressive time of 18:43.
The next event for Livingston Academy Cross Country will be the DeKalb County Invitational in Smithville on Saturday, Sept. 21.
