Lakeway Christian basketball's Dante Harris commits to Georgetown

 Lakeway Christian senior basketball guard Dante Harris committed to Georgetown on Tuesday. 

He chose the Hoyas over offers from Georgia State, East Tennessee State and South Alabama, among others. The 5-foot-11 Harris plays primarily point guard for Lakeway Christian. 

He made the announcement at a ceremony at his school.

He averaged 30.6 points, nine assists and four steals last season. Lakeway Christian will be an affiliate member of TSSAA this season, meaning the school will compete against member teams, but will not be able to participate in the postseason. 

Harris transferred to Lakeway Christian in 2018 after spending two seasons at Alcoa.
