Rossview's chances of a fourth straight postseason was dashed in the final minutes of its Region 4-6A game against Lebanon Friday.

Lebanon scored on a two yard touchdown run with 2:34 left in the game. It was only the second touchdown for the Blue Devils on the night. Their first TD came midway through the third quarter on a 96-yard drive that was aided by two unsportsmanlike penalties. Rossview coach Todd Hood was ejected from the game after arguing the second of those penalties.

Rossview's lone touchdown came in the first half when Aaron Bolster ran in from nine yards out to give Rossview a 7-3 lead in the first quarter. The Hawks led 10-3 at halftime but couldn't hang on finishing the season 4-6 and 1-4 in region play.

Clarksville High 42, West Creek 0: Freshman quarterback Davin Garinger threw two touchdown passes, one to Michael Kennedy and the other to Hunter Busbee as the Wildcats rolled to a win Friday to dash West Creek's playoff hopes.

Quantae Hicks returned a punt for a touchdown and running back Seth Phillips finished with two rushing touchdowns as the Wildcats improved to 6-4 and 4-2 in region play — after starting the season 0-2 in region — and will travel to face Munford next week in the 5A playoffs.

Dyer County 54, Kenwood 0: Jaylen Washington had more than 160 yards of offense for Kenwood but the Knights lost to Dyer County to close out the regular season. However, with Clarksville High's win against West Creek, Friday, the Knights advance to the 5A playoffs despite a 2-8 record (2-4 in region).

Kenwood will face Southwind in Memphis next week's first round.

Houston County 28, Hickman County 21: Houston County wrapped up the program's best season since 1977 after beating Hickman County in a Region 6-2A game Friday. The Irish's Noah Black finished with 85 yards on 10 carries while Warren Gant forced a fumble and returned a fumble for a touchdown. Houston County finished the regular season 9-1 and was 4-1 in the region.

The Irish will play host to Eagleville next week in the first round.
