Brentwood Academy raced to a first place finish in the Division II-AA girls cross country championship Saturday at Percy Warner Park in Nashville with a team score of 73.
Three local schools finished in the top seven with Baylor taking third with 116 points, GPS coming in fifth at 142 and Chattanooga Christian finishing seventh at 158.
While Knox Catholic’s Callie Tucker took overall honors with a time of 18:56.00, Chattanooga was well-represented with top 10 finishes by Baylor’s Helen Webb (4th – 19:55.19), Phoebe Moran of CCS (5th – 20;10.87) and Baylor’s Emmy Davis (7th – 20:18.76).
Minah Sadrabadi was GPS’ top finisher at 17th with a time of 21:03.77.
