Midstate high school football rankings: Top 10 after Week 11

Here's a look at the top 10 high school football teams in Middle Tennessee, as ranked by the USA Today Sports Network. 

1. Oakland (10-0) – Oakland defeated Warren County 49-14 for its 23rd straight win and its second undefeated regular season in three years. Last week: No. 1. This week: vs. Lebanon.

2. Pearl-Cohn (10-0) – The Firebirds beat Giles County 28-11 for the school’s first 10-0 season in school history. Last week: No. 2. This week: vs. Stewart County.

3. Ravenwood (9-1) – The Raptors have outscored their opponents 200-42 during their five-game win streak. Last week: No. 3. This week: vs. Stewarts Creek.

4. Brentwood (8-2) – The Bruins came back from a 13-7 third-quarter deficit to beat Centennial 24-19 and complete an undefeated Region 6-6A season. Last week: No. 4. This week: vs. McGavock.

5. Beech (10-0) – Sophomore Josh Jordan threw for 124 yards in the Buccaneers' 41-13 rout of Hillwood to wrap up their second undefeated regular season in three years. Last week: No. 5. This week: vs. Columbia.

6. Henry County (8-2) – The Patriots routed Clarksville Northwest 46-0 and have scored 40 or more points in four of the past five weeks. Last week: No. 6. This week: vs. Ridgeway.

7. Gallatin (9-1) – The Green Wave defense enters the postseason giving up 4.9 points per game. Last week: No. 7. This week: vs. Summit.

8. Ensworth (7-3) – The Tigers upset McCallie 33-29 to clinch a spot in the Division II-AAA playoffs. Last week: Not ranked. This week: Open.

9. Cane Ridge (7-3) – Four-star receiver Quenton Barnes finished the regular season with 33 catches for 577 yards and six touchdowns. Last week: No. 8. This week: vs. Franklin.

10. Page (9-1) – The Patriots claimed their second straight Region 5-5A championship and finished undefeated in league play with a 35-21 win over Franklin County. Last week: No. 10. This week: vs. Hunters Lane.
